I completed my medical school from New Delhi, India in 2007, including one year of internship. I thereafter, moved to the United Kingdom where I completed a master of public health degree (M.P.H.) from january 2007 to may 2008 where in my thesis was on the severity of asthma and body mass index. I started postgraduate internal medicine residency in june 2008 at the University of connecticut in the United states and became American Board certified in Internal Medicine in June 2011. I completed 10 months of training in pulmonary and critical care as a fellow at Texas A and M health sciences center in May 2012. I will be starting to work as a hospitalist in Internal Medicine with an interest in academic medicine from September 2012 in Maine, USA.
