Dr JavedLatoo is a General Psychiartist with special interest in Neuropsychiatry. Dr Latoo did his psychiatric training as part of University College London (UCL) training programme.He is on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council. He is the founder and Managing Editor of British Journal of Medical Practitioners.His research interests include Healthcare Management and Neuropsychiatric aspects of neurological disorders. He has had articles published in peer reviewed journals about antidepressants, dementia, bullying, racism, difficult trainer, physical health of psychiatric patients and neuropsychiatric disorders.
He is an active member of American Neuropsychiatric Association (USA), International Brain Research Organisation (France), Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (Germany) and British Neurosciences Assoiciation.He is actively involved in teaching medical students and junior doctors.
Dr Javed Latoo is the President of British Asian Medical Association (BAMA). He works closely with the statutory and voluntary organisations including GMC, DOH, NHS Employers and BMA to improve working atmosphere in the NHS.
Dr Latoo actively organises academic conferences, symposias, seminars and workshops in the community centres to educate and increase awareness about good physical, mental and social health.
