Brief Introduction

• Internationally Renowned Researcher with over 8 years of research experience in the field of Osteoarthritis and Osteoporosis which affects more than 27 millions Americans at age 25 or above. • Created the first probabilistic human femur cartilage atlas using Magnetic Resonance Images provided by the Osteoarthritis Initiative (OAI) funded by National Institute of Health (NIH). • Developed the first probabilistic Human Femoral and Tibia Bone Atlas from Magnetic Resonance Images. • Appointed as Adjunct Professor in the Department of Physics at San Diego State University (SDSU) – Conducting pioneering research in the development of new informatics techniques to early detect Osteoarthritis and Osteoporosis in human population. • Co-Editor for the book titled “Developments in Musculoskeletal MRI, Imaging Informatics, and Image Based Modeling” • Employed as a Specialist Business Analyst in Research and Development Informatics Department at Amgen, Inc. worlds leading therapeutic and Fortune 500 Company, with over ten thousand employees and offices in more than 50 countries worldwide. • Wrote and submitted research grants as part of the medical informatics lab at University of California, Los Angeles. • Serving as a peer reviewer/referee for several reputed journals and conference proceedings in the field of Medical Image Analysis.
